ABOUT STICHTING WALKALONG
Stichting WalkAlong was established in 2022. From the beginning it focuses itself on exploration of new forms of expressions through the use of contemporary digital technology.
Part of the foundation’s creative work is focused on children and young adults. We are interested in the creation of high quality artistic material, aimed at fostering imagination, creativity and critical thinking.
Stichting WalkAlong follows principles of inclusivity and fair practices.

The WalkAlong app project researches interactive storytelling as a tool to promote education, creativity and recreation.
The WalkAlong app is an interactive tool that enables children and families to explore the city of Amsterdam while spending quality time together. This children/family-friendly mobile tour guide works like a location based-game. While walking through Amsterdam, users encounter numerous educational animations, mini games, quizzes and creative challenges.

Managing director, producer
Nina Jan (1986) is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher and art producer. In 2015 she graduated cum laude from the Master of Film program at the Netherlands Film Academy. Between 2019 and 2022 she also worked as a project manager and digital archive manager for Lectoraat Film at the Dutch Film Academy.

Daniel Donato is a Brazilian filmmaker and cinematographer based in Amsterdam.
KRISTINA DAUROVA
Kristina is an independent filmmaker and a visual artist with a background in choreography and performance based in Amsterdam.
JAKA MUROVEC BANIČ
Jaka holds a degree in art and music education. Since the pandemic, he has been active as a programmer and is currently completing his studies at Codam Coding College, Amsterdam.
